Adecco becomes Official International Sponsor of Davis Cup

Adecco Group, the worldwide leader in Human Resource services, today announced that it has signed an agreement with the International Tennis Federation to become an Official International Sponsor of the Davis Cup.

Zürich, Switzerland, Dec 3, 2010 

This prestigious sporting event is the perfect platform for the Adecco Group to extend its engagement in tennis on a global scale and indeed marks the Groups’ return as a Davis Cup sponsor. The agreement, which begins this weekend at the Davis Cup Final between Serbia and France in Belgrade, runs until 2013 and also includes the Fed Cup. Adecco also becomes the Official HR Partner at both competitions.


Adecco Group CEO, Patrick De Maeseneire, commented on the decision to sponsor the Davis Cup: “We are proud to partner with the International Tennis Federation in what is the world’s largest international annual team competition in sport. By also acting as the Official HR Partner, we will be showcasing our top-class abilities in recruiting for large scale international sporting competition”.

Adecco has a long-standing association with the sporting world. The company cooperates with the International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee on the Athlete Career Programme as well as sponsoring the 3-time US Open winner and world tennis champion, Kim Clijsters, in her comeback career.
