Adecco appoints new Chief Human Resources Officer
The Adecco Group, the worldwide leader in human resources (HR) services, today announced the appointment of Dr. Thomas Flatt (38) as the Group's new Chief Human Resources Officer. Thomas has been the Group's acting HR officer since October 2004.

In this role, Thomas will continue being responsible for all HR topics related to Adecco's 30'000 employees across the world, including training programs such as the Adecco University program at the IMD business school. His main focus will be on attracting and developing the best talent to support the group's growth strategy. "Having the best people is key to delivering the best service. It is my ambition to enhance Adecco's positioning as the employer of choice in the HR industry", he says. Thomas can draw on extensive experience in IT, telecommunications, healthcare and management consulting. He will report directly to the CEO of Adecco Group, Jérôme Caille.
Thomas holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School, France, and a doctorate degree in medicine from the University of Basel, Switzerland. He spent five years as a project manager with Boston Consulting Group and three years in senior management positions at Swisscom AG.
Thomas is Swiss by nationality. He is based at Adecco's global headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland; he enjoys playing tennis and golf in his leisure time.
